Brianna Cope wins the North Shore Surf Shop Pro Junior 4 Star!

We're starting a pool at Rockwell on how long until Brianna is on the world tour, though the pool probably should be how long until Brianna is a world champ, because this girl is UNSTOPPABLE. $10 to buy in. Another notch in the belt for Brianna this last week as she won the North Shore Surf Shop Junior Pro 4 Star. Watch your backs Steph, Coco, Alana and the gang. Brianna is coming for ya.

Rider by Rockwell in action!

Have you heard about our Rider by Rockwell line yet? Rider is centered more around the function side of a watch, but that doesn't mean they still don't look good. Check out the series in our store. Pictured is the Iron Rider, a multi-function wrist computer. Digi compass and altimeter, plus all the standard and not-so-standard features you'd expect to find on a watch like this. So grab your Rockwell when you're headed out on the town, and your Rider by Rockwell when you're headed into the backcountry.

Rockwell Mud-O-Cross went off!

If you spent last Saturday sitting around eating chips and cartoons, you really missed out. We won't say it was a Saturday misspent, but you could have been doing better things. The 1st ever Rockwell Mud-O-Cross went down at the Rockwell compound in Woods Cross, UT, and it was incredible. The course was challenging (congrats to Zach aka Turtle for taking the top spot), but it was doable and everyone was able to finish. The turnout was great, especially considering it was the first time this event was thrown. Shoot, we even had the Utah Jazz Dancers come out and get a little dirty with us. Bottom line: Don't miss this event next time.

Powder Mountain MX 2011

Powder Mountain MX 2011 turned out to be a great event once again. The Rockwell Team trio of Landen Powell, Cole Siebler, and Jeremy McGrath all put in great rides in the Pro classes. Jeremy again proved that he's the man to beat and scored several wins while Siebler chased him down in the second position for most of the weekend. Landen Powell was up front as well and showed that the local boy can run with the best. Not only was the MX action intense but also some of Rockwell's BMX athletes including local rider Josh Hult, were throwing down some insane tricks off the Rockwell semi. But most importantly, RIP DYLAN PERKINS. You will always be remembered.

Rockwell Rider Report: Lance Vincent

CB: Alright Lance, we're here in Lakewood, CO for Round 5 of the AMA Nationals and you just finished the second Lites moto. Probably your best ride so far this season as you started up front and battled with Sipes and Wilson for the first half of the moto. Tell us about the moto and why you had to pull off?

LV: Yeah, I got a good start. Me and Barcia came together on the start but we still managed to come out 1st and 3rd. Second place ended up falling and I moved into second. Then I stayed within 2nd and 3rd and Sipes and I were battling back and forth; we passed each other five to ten times. Dean got me once and then I passed him back. Then I think I was in 4th and it was right at the halfway mark and then, I don't know, my bike just kind of had a malfunction. The team will get it figured out and we'll be back for Redbud.

CB: Well speaking of bikes, you're probably on one of the best bikes in the pits, the Geico Honda. Tell me about the ride. It's got to feel good to be on such a solid team.

LV: Yeah for sure. I believe it's by far the best bike out there. I know I can do some serious damage with this bike. Me and my bike were finally clicking that moto and we're looking forward to Redbud.

CB: Well congrats again on a great ride and best of luck at Redbud.

LV: Thanks man.

Rockwell Relay Deadline this Friday for Moab to St. George!

Registration closes for Rockwell Relay: Moab to St. George on May 27th. Grab three cycling buddies and get your team together for one of the best rides you'll EVER do! As fantastic as last year's event was, everything is bigger and better this year. We've got lots of riders: new and returning, men and ladies, young and old(er), and even a tandem team. The ride is the cake but there's lots of icing too: the sense of accomplishment, the camaraderie - not just with your teammates but the whole group, Aram's great Mexican food in Torrey, and your choice of a really good looking T-shirt. The cherry on top for those that finish the full route: a nice Finisher's ring and the right to purchase an elite Finisher's watch. Lots of bragging rights, after all. Jump over to the website to view a clip from 2010's relay - the scenery is inspiring!
